Required Informational Sessions
Get all your questions answered and help with the forms in one hour. These required info sessions are designed to give you an overview of this event and of what’s new for this year. Artists new to this event, those who may have difficulty with online forms, and people who have questions they haven’t clarified via this website will get one-on-one help.
There will be three informational sessions: two in-person sessions to be held at NIAD and the Richmond Art Center, and a remote session on on Zoom. The remote session will help last-minute applicants before the registration deadline on June 4.

A big change this year is that this will be the only way in which we will be able to offer assistance. We expect more artists to register and for that reason we won’t be able to help anyone via email or the phone, or issue reminders. We ask that you attend early so that you can apply early and ensure you have time to complete your registration.
If you are also interested in being a part of the Made in Richmond Preview Exhibition, we’ll answer all of your exhibition questions.
Here is a rough outline of what these sessions cover:
Quick Richmond Open Studios overview
Prepping for registration
Filling out the on-line registration form
Filling out the “Made in Richmond” Exhibition Form
Introducing this year’s partner venues
Important dates
Q and A
One-on-one assistance if needed
Artists with an incomplete registration or exhibition submission will be automatically registered for the next available info session. Incomplete registrations and exhibition submissions sent after May 29 will be rejected.
