Open Studios is a free community event where visual artists living or working in specific area or building can sell affordable art directly to the public. In 2024, 48 artists chose to participate. Through its own community connections, sponsorships and collaborations, VAR’s Richmond Open Studios have brought art lovers eager to support local artists to Richmond. You can support your local artists by spreading the word, and visiting their studios or tables at partner venues this September 6-7

I just registered to participate in this year’s Richmond Open Studios, an amazing community effort directed by a group of artist-volunteers from Visual Artists of Richmond. I will be participating in “Made in Richmond” a preview exhibition of our work opening on July 9, and I will be showing and selling my work this September 6-7 from 11 to 4 pm. I would love for you to join me!
